Seasons: Reflections of a Native Plant Enthusiast
In April of 2023, we lost our dear friend and former colleague Trish Beckjord to pancreatic cancer. In the year that followed, in cooperation with Trish’s family and The Conservation Foundation, Midwest Groundcovers worked to make Trish’s wish to publish her writings from the Native News into book form come true. Seasons: Reflections of a Native Plant Enthusiast are a combination of her musings, “Plant Your Should Know” writings, and “Sustainability Tips”. The book is available to purchase for $30 with proceeds benefitting conservation organizations close to Trish’s heart.
