Marsh Blazing Star

Dense spikes of tiny purple-pink flowers that bloom from the top down. The foliage is narrow, growing from each stem. Very similar to L. pycnostachya. Will grow in heavy soils. Can grow to 5′ tall. Attracts birds, butterflies, bees and parasitic wasps.
