Solidago caesia

Blue-stemmed Goldenrod

Does not spread aggressively as some other goldenrods do. Graceful arching stems covered with hundreds of small yellow flowers attract butterflies, bees and parasitic wasps. The distinct, slender stems are purplish in color. Endangered in Wisconsin.
