Chicago's True Nature

A 58 minute DVD “Chicago’s True Nature” will be shown.  It was produced for WYCC (channel 20) PBS and displays the flora and fauna diversity of native plants in the Cook County Forest Preserves.

This film is an Emmy Award Winner last year from the Chicago/Midwest National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

After the showing there will be discussion of its key points and visitors are encouraged to add their input and offer questions.

The church facility is conveniently located one block from the intersection of I-88 and Naperville Rd.

Join us for walk at Mink River Preserve to see a new acquisition on the Niagara Escarpment that features a moist cliff and northern forest habitat. This acquisition expanded the preserve so that it now extends from the marshes of the Mink River Estuary on Lake Michigan to the Niagara Escarpment on the Green Bay side of the Door Peninsula.
